Date info: Tom Carfagno has done some date research on this set as follows: There are two cards that show a pair of stars on each, #3 Hannerl Matz with Adrian Hoven and also card #69 Hans Richter with Rudolf Carl. There is one other (card #67) but that depicts a husband and wife I believe so dating that one could be a long stretch of time. I believe that card #3 is actually for the film Hannerl starring Johanna Matz and Adrian Hoven. This was a 1952 film and was the only film they were together in. Card #69 depicts Richter/Carl. They made only two films together...Knall Und Fall als Hochstapler in 1952 and Knall Und Fall als Detektive in 1953. Thus, the earliest this set could have possibly been made was 1952. This would also coincide with the rise to stardom of Marilyn Monroe. Also, this set was evidently issued before the second Knabchen set which was issued in 1953, so 1952 fits well with that.
