Notes: There were two series of cards, called Bonanza, Bronco, and Flipper. The second series was still called Bonanza, Bronco, Flipper, but it also included scenes from Lassie and Der Weisse Sohn Der Sioux. Der Weisse Sohn Der Sioux was a 1952 movie called The Savage, starring Charlton Heston. Each set had its own album.

Both sets features scenes from three 1960s TV series - Bonanza, Bronco, and Flipper. Bonanza ran from 1959 to 1973, Bronco from 1958-1962 and Flipper from 1964-1967. These sets were probably issued in the mid-1960s, around 1964 or 1965.

The cards themselves are anonymous as to issuer, but German collector Nick Bolton reports that these sets were issued by a company named Kunold, which issued cards in bags. Kunold is famous in Germany for their series on the 1966 World Cup, also issued in bags and complete with a sought-after album.

Collector Amit Benyovits unearthed some unopened Serie 2 packs of these cards (click small picture above to see a picture of the pack). Each pack contained 3 cards with fairly thick stock.

Thanks to Mikael Hoffsten, Amit Benyovits, and Nick Bolton for help with this checklist.
