Notes: A truly obscure company - we don't even know where they were located, but we can do a little detective work. After not being known to collectors, a Baltic album surfaced in 2023. It was bought from a Polish collector, and in the north there were a lot of German speaking citizens, many of them in Danzig, which happens to be on the Baltic coast, and boasted a lot of chocolate companies.
While the Baltic cards themselves are rare, the same set was also issued by Bulgaria, Constantin and Salem and those cards are common. No title on back, so the title used by these other companies has been used, as well as their year of issue (1932). Completely different number order, here separated into three series (I-III) with 60 cards in each series for a total of 180 cards. The recently discovered album has the title "Sammelt Baltic Serienbilder" ("Collect Baltic Card Series"), with pages specifically printed for the 180 cards. On the front of the album is an ad for "Hochmeister Bitter", a brand of dark chocolate.

In the checklist below, the number in brackets is the card number from the companies Bulgaria, Constantin and Salem. Checklist almost complete - only Series I, Nr. 5 and 23 are missing, and by a process of elimination, the two missing cards are Rudolf Forster (20) and William Powell (149) - it's not certain which card is which.
