Three known theatres that gave out these cards were the Best Theatre in Parsons, Kansas, the Grand Theatre (location unknown) and the Royal Theatre in Calumet, Michigan. Other theatres probably also gave out these cards. The card backs show local advertising over most of the back. Below a line at the bottom are the words "Distinguished Players in Selected Photoplays Always at" with the theatre name beneath.
These cards look very much like the cards issued by the Kromo Gravure company. There is a good chance that Kromo Gravure supplied these cards to various theatres for their giveaway promotions. The checklist for the Favorite Theatre set is probably identical to this checklist, as the card fronts are the same for both sets.
