W538 Strip Cards

Issuing Company: Unknown
Country of Issue: USA
Year of Issue: 1920s
Color/B&W: Color
Number of Cards in Set: Probably 10
Card Size: 1 3/8" x 2 1/8"
Issued as insert with what product: Issued in strips by themselves with no other product. Cards are usually found cut apart. Blank-backed.

Notes: Checklist probably complete. These all say ©U&U somewhere on the front. These cards look similar to the Three Line Text Color Strip Card set, except these are numbered, contain the copyright line, and the text is just a bit smaller.

There is a printing of this set that shows text reading "THE LITTLE WONDER PICTURE SERIES" above the top of cards 2, 3, and 4. This same text can also be found above some cards from a different set of U. S. Presidents strip cards.

Thanks to Ron Strader for helping with this checklist.
