Notes: This was the last set of movie star Dixie Lids. It was also the only time they were issued in full color. Dixie also issued a separate set of 18 baseball player lids in 1954.
The 1954 lids were designed to be viewed in 3D. To view them in 3D, you had to get two copies of the same card, one with the tab on the left and one with the tab on the right. You also had to have a Stereo Starviewer, which was available from Dixie by mail for 25 cents. The 3D effect could also be seen if you used an old Steroscope viewer.
