Notes: Checklist incomplete. Two sets of these cards were issued. The first set was issued in 1933 and has blue text on the backs. The second set was issued in either late 1933 or early 1934 and has black text on the backs. The second set is mostly an update of the first set, though there is at least one changed card. The ACC number for this set is R122.
It appears that the stars are mostly the same between the two sets, but there are some differences. The backs discuss the star's latest film or films, and this is updated for many of the cards between the two sets. For card number 26, Polly Moran can be found in the blue set and Maureen O'Sullivan can be found in the blue set and in the black set. For card number 19, different pictures were used for Oliver Hardy for the two sets. For card number 11, different pictures were used for Madge Evans for the two sets. There are probably other differences, but not enough of the cards have been studied for a detailed list. It looks like the fronts of each set can be found in a blue tone or a reddish-brown tone.
