Notes: Checklist incomplete. There is no indication on the stamps of who issued these or how they were issued. Collector David Spicer spotted an ad for these stamps in the November 1914 issue of Motion Picture Magazine. The ad states that the entire set of 100 stamps plus an album to hold them could be obtained by sending in 30 cents or 15 2-cent stamps plus the name of your favorite movie theatre. The name and mailing address for the promotion was The Theatre Supply Co., 1495 Broadway NY.
Date info: There is a stamp showing "Our Mutual Girl." There was a series from 1914 called "Our Mutual Girl" which ran for 52 episodes and starred Norma Phillips. The Motion Picture Magazine containing an ad for this set was in November 1914.
