Notes: This set has the card number in a black square on the front. The fronts of the first 39 cards in this set are identical to the fronts of card numbers 40-78. The backs of the cards form a puzzle of the Beatles. This set shows film stars and pop music groups.
Collector Barry Beckett recently purchased four unopened packs for the “Number in Black Square” set which were sold in packs labelled TV Pussel. In the packs there were 8 cards from the series plus 2 from the “Wild West” set that was released in 1968/9. Click the picture above to view a picture of a packet and the contents inside. In the packet shown, the 2 x Manolito cards are from the "Wild West" set. Three of the packs followed the same protocol and the 4th had 3 Wild West cards and only 7 of the “Black Square” set.
