Godfrey Phillips issued another Stage and Cinema Beauties set in 1934 with the same card design as this set. Some of the stars have the same number in the two sets with different poses. When this happens, the pose is listed next to the star (for example, card #9 in this set shows Joan Crawford looking forward. In the 1934 set, she is shown in a side view.)
There are two different #15s in this set, Anne Grey or Marjorie Lavol.
There are two different poses for card #3 Joan Barry with some text variations on the backs, too. Richard Minns reports that this variation is not recorded in any of the handbooks, therefore the head & shoulders card is assumed to be quite rare. The more common version which shows Barry sitting in a full length pose mentions the film "The Outsider" on the back, which was a 1931 release. The scarcer head and shoulders version instead mentions the film "Rome Express" which was released in 1932.
