Information from Bob Forbes follows: "The interesting aspect of this series is that the designs are created using actual feathers glued onto the cards. The cards were issued in cellophane envelopes advertising La Marquise Cigarettes. Cards separated from the envelope are difficult to identify as tobacco cards as no tobacco advertising or factory numbers are known. The series likely consists of 30 subjects, with only #10 & #23 not confirmed at this time. These were most likely issued sometime in the 1907-1914 period.
