Information from Bob Forbes follows:

"The interesting aspect of this series is that the designs are created using actual feathers glued onto the cards.

The cards were issued in cellophane envelopes advertising La Marquise Cigarettes. Cards separated from
the envelope are difficult to identify as tobacco cards as no tobacco advertising or factory numbers are known.

Only 25 titles are known, with #30 being the highest number seen. The series
consisted of 30 subjects (or more), and further unreported titles are likely to exist.

These were most likely issued sometime in the 1907-1914 period.
