Notes: Checklist Incomplete. These can be identified by the "CI.-P" on the front. This may be the same set as the Clovis Film Stars (Clovis on Front, Blank Back). Card number 266 in each of these sets shows the exact same picture of Greta Garbo, the only difference being the two say either "Clovis" or "CI.-P".
I have observed two different #256 cards, and it is possible that these cards were from two different sets. The only real difference I could find between the design of the cards for the two #256 cards were that the Garbo-Novarro card was missing the dash between "CI.-P" while the Beery-Gable card had the dash. Only one other card in this list was missing the dash, the #300 Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy card.
Cards from this set seen with a hole punch - this is probably the result of some prize redemption, where the cards had to be turned in for a prize, then they were returned with a punch hole so they could not be redeemed again.
