Notes: Checklist incomplete. Blank-backed. These cards look like the cards issued by Chocolaterie Junon (Societe Anonyme) but without the ink stamp on the reverse. Without seeing some of these cards with the ink stamp there is no other way of verifying this is the same series.
Date info: Looking at the pairs of stars pictured together yields the following information. Joan Crawford and John Gilbert are pictured from the 1928 film "Four Walls." Ralph Forbes and Dolores Del Rio are pictured from the 1928 film "The Trail of '98." Richard Arlen and Rosita Moreno are pictured from the 1930 film "The Santa Fe Trail." I'm placing a 1930 date on this set, as that's probably around the time it was issued.
